These are some of my favorite bits of media from around the internet, mostly things that don't fit into other categories

Webcomics!

These are some of my favorite webcomics of all time. Some are still not complete and have been running for years.

Schlock Mercenary - A sort of jokey scifi webcomic with some pretty interesting concepts and cheesey writing. Complete.
Gunnerkrigg Court - A fantasy school webcomic with a fascinating world and some great art
Kill Six Billion Demons - My favorite webcomic possibly of all time. Ongoing, will probably be done in a year or so.
Dresden Codak - A gorgeous art deco surrealist comic about a strange future society.
Freakangels - Warren Ellis of Transmet fame wrote this comic about growing up. Complete.
Sword Interval - A sort of post apocalyptic action comic. Fun read.
Phoenix Requiem - A victorian love story set amongst the rise of the undead. Not too long, great artwork, well made. Complete.

Information/Research

These are mostly reference or interesting internet rabbit holes, the kinds of sites I could get lost down for hours and hours during summer break when I was young.

Project Rockets - Written mostly for science fiction authors, it is the most comprehensive and understanable resource of rocketry and space trave information in general that I have ever come across..
TV Tropes - A great way to understand similarities in media, to find media that does things that you like, and just a fun way to waste time on the internet

Music

Here are some bands I enjoy. I I will try to include a favorite song so you can get an idea of what they are about.

Abney Park - Formerly, in order, goth, steampunk, world, and post apocalyptic, I listened to them a lot in high school. Still some songs I really dig. One of my favorites
Justice - Maybe the only band I consider on par with Daft Punk in the electronic world. One of my favorites
Varien - Lots of really interesting atmospheric music, I like the second industrial revolution a lot myself. One of my favorites
